The active extension cable DVI Extension Pro adds another 4.5 m (ca. 15 ft) for a total of roughly 6 m (20 ft.). DVI Extension Pro offers fully electronic amplification of video and USB 2.0 signals, including their regeneration. Featuring impeccable image quality up to 1920 x 1200 and trouble-free operation of USB peripherals. By daisy-chaining several DVI Extension Pro units one can build custom extensions of up to 18 m without any effort, bringing the total length of the DVI cable to ca. 20 m. As DVI Extension Pro requires neither power supply nor power cord it is as easy to install as you are accustomed from your Macintosh. Software, drivers or the likes are not needed. DVI Extension Pro works completely transparently and consequently offers maximum compatibility with all relevant operating systems! Compatibility Active extension for digital DVI displays up to 1920x1200. Up to 4 DVI Extension Pro may be daisy-chained. You may run 2 units off a single power supply by using the provided power pass-through cable instead of a power supply. Do not run 3 or more units off a single power supply! DVI Extension Pro may not be combined with passive Extension cables like the Dr. Bott DVI Extension 3 m. DVI Extension Pro works with DVI-ADC adapters (e.g. DVIator) and with ADC-DVI adapters (e.g. DVI Extractor II).
